Founding of the company by Carl Georg Wilhelm Ungewitter in Bremen. The company remains in family ownership to this day.

1888
Beginning of the import and trade with Trinidad Natural Asphalt

1930
Founding of the trading company Willhelm Asche & Co. for the import and distribution of Trinidad Natural Asphalt on the European continent.

1972
Appointment as an IATA agent and opening of the Carl Ungewitter branch at Bremen Airport.

1995
Merger of the forwarding company Carl Ungewitter and the trading company Willhelm Asche & Co to form the company Carl Ungewitter Trinidad Lake Asphalt GmbH & Co. KG

2000
Introduction of the exclusive Libya Courier Service

2001
Registration of our foreign branch in Libya

Founding of the New Joint Lebda Company, Libya
